The Water Contributor
Carbonz offers a simplified or detailed method for calculating water usage, depending on the available project data and different nodes in its hierarchy.
Simplified Mode:
In this mode, you need to define the sewage system (collective or not), the water collection network (unitary or separate), and the total potable water consumption per m²/year.
Detailed Mode:
Here, you input the rainwater consumption, the surface area for rainwater collection from roofs, covered or uncovered parking, annual rainfall, and water-consuming equipment to estimate potable water consumption.
The Construction Site Contributor
For the Construction Site contributor, both simplified and detailed methods are available.
Simplified Method:
You specify site soil management (quantities and transport), fuel consumption, construction duration, and whether a crane is present.
Detailed Method:
With this approach, you detail rainwater consumption for all uses, manage imported soil on the site, and specify fuel consumption.
